Who I am. With over 20 years of experience in teaching, training, and developing people, I’ve built a career dedicated to empowering others. From leading fitness programs for the Canadian Armed Forces to designing innovative learning solutions in the private sector, I’ve cultivated a human-centered approach that blends curiosity, discipline, and performance.

What I do. I specialize in crafting engaging, results-driven learning experiences. Whether it’s designing workshops, creating eLearning modules, or optimizing processes, my focus is on inspiring real change. My approach is deeply rooted in listening, understanding, and delivering solutions that resonate—because people are at the heart of everything I do.

How I sharpen my craft

To deepen and formalize my practice, I earned my Instructional Design Professional Certification through Peck Academy, a rigorous, hands-on program grounded in real-world performance challenges. The work went far beyond theory. It required designing complete learning solutions from the ground up: diagnosing performance gaps, working with simulated stakeholders and SMEs, building scenario-based experiences, and validating decisions against evidence-based learning principles.

What resonated most with me was the emphasis on doing, not just knowing. Designing for behaviour change. Respecting cognitive load. Creating learning that holds up under pressure, not just in a course, but in the real world. This experience sharpened my thinking, strengthened my design discipline, and reinforced something I’ve believed for years: effective learning starts with empathy and ends with action.

What I believe.
I believe growth happens where passion and purpose meet. My years as a Capoeira professor taught me resilience, creativity, and the beauty of constant learning. Raising my two boys has shown me the importance of curiosity and joy. These values are the foundation of my work, driving me to design learning experiences that truly make a difference.
